QR CODES IN MATH

In our classroom you will usually see students participating in a workshop model. After new material has been introduced, students split into workshops that are tailored to fit their individual needs. In a typical 1 hour math block students will attend 3, 20 minute workshops.

In this picture students are practicing division problems while using personal devices to check their work. Students scan a QR code for an answer and explanation, it makes this workshop an interactive and independent activity allowing more time for individualized instruction based on students needs.

BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE

Seemlessly Integrating Technology in the Classroom

My students and I  have been chosen to pilot a "Bring Your Own Device" program in the Camdenton R3 School District.

Students used their personal devices to seemlessly intergrate teachnology into our everyday routine in the classroom. I belive that students should use technology to interact with the world they live in, and the B.Y.O.D policy has allowed them to do so.
