WEEKLY NEWSLETTERS

Families recieve a weekly newsletter on Mondays. Newsletters include a list of upcoming events, a weekly overview of what students will be learning in each subject and a space for teacher notes.

Along with the newsletter, students take home Monday folders with a parent communication log. Parents and I use this space to write notes back and forth such as compliments, unfinished work, behavior goals for the week, etc. Students are required to have a parent sign off on the folder and return to school the following day.

REMIND 101

I use Remind 101, a website to connect with parents and students. I use Remind 101 to send daily reminders such as Book Order due dates, after school activity times, homework reminders and much more.

With Remind 101 parents and students can sign up while keeping their phone numbers private. As the teacher, I am able to text the whole class or a select few from the web while keeping my personal number private as well.
